Train crash - 18 may 1939

On Thursday, 18th may 1939 about 7 a.m. Polish train from Warsaw to Gdynia and Hel crashed exactly vis-a-vis building of Railway Direction. Probably too high speed of the train on the switch was the reason of this accident. Engine driver and stoker died at the hospital of the injuries, three conductors were also wounded. There were no other casualties of the accident. Both sides, Polish and Danzig accused each other and suggested sabotage as a reason of the catastrophe.
